Privacy Policy

• Your drinks — amount, beverage type and time of each log.
• Your settings — daily goal, wake-up time, reminder intensity, weight and work style (used only to suggest a daily goal).
• Your streak and past daily goals.

This data is stored locally by the app. Deleting the app deletes it. If your device backs up to iCloud, it is included in that backup, which is handled by Apple under your own Apple account.

If you allow it, WaterKaren writes each water log to Apple Health as dietary water. The app only writes; it does not read anything from Health. Health data is never used for advertising and never leaves your device through us. You can revoke access at any time in the Health app → Sharing → Apps → WaterKaren.

The optional app lock uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) frameworks. The apps you choose are represented by opaque tokens generated by iOS — WaterKaren cannot see which apps they are, and cannot see your usage. The selection stays on your device. You can turn the lock off in the app, or revoke access in Settings → Screen Time.

Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. No push server is involved.

This website uses no analytics and no tracking cookies. It only stores your language choice in a cookie so the site remembers it.

WaterKaren does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
